One of the main goals of the Foundation is to collect data about the people who died in Treblinka. We create a base, which gradually complementarity and put on the website of the Foundation. We called it a Book of Names.
Data collection started a few years ago in project “Names” (projekt-imiona.pl). We collect all available information about each person – from databases, court records, memories, relations, oral stories. We place to the database entire families, showing their fate, even if not all of its members were killed in Treblinka.
The project is co-financed by a grant awarded by the Association of JHI.
